NetWay Refocuses for the Future
NetWay Internet has completed an extensive reorganization to focus the business on
cutting-edge wireless broadband.
North Andover, Ma, June 10, 2002 – NetWay Internet, Massachusetts’ leading
Internet Service provider today announced the completion of a
company-wide overhaul. The company is preparing to gear-up for the launch of its new NetWay Broadband service.
All facets of the business have been restructured including personnel changes, operating procedures, acquisition of
new office space, and capped off by a long awaited new website. The reorganization begins with the top most
levels as co-founder and former CEO Douglas Smith steps exclusively into the
CTO position. “NetWay will continue to be a top performer, but in a more
streamlined and professional fashion. Just as our new website embodies”, states NetWay Internet co-founder and
new CEO, Craig Nuttall.
The website is the culmination of
a year’s work. Features include a slick interface and a wealth of information for the customer to peruse.
Customers can login to access account information and the company hopes to soon add a secure area where a customer
could view billing information. Prospective customers will appreciate the newly created products page to
easily find the information they are seeking. Importantly, the site has a professional look and feel to better
represent one of the Massachusetts’s top Internet service providers.
The driving force behind the
reorganization is the rollout of the new NetWay Broadband service. The service promises to set new standards in
the delivery of high-speed access to businesses throughout the Merrimack Valley. NetWay Broadband is made possible through
technology that has just become available in 2002 and clearly earns the
“cutting-edge” label. NetWay, pouncing
on the opportunity of this promising technology, has been undergoing a metamorphosis
since January of this year. The company
has taken on private funding, acquired new office space, and realigned
personnel all with the aim of ramping up the new service. After a $100,000 research and development
phase, NetWay Broadband has completed initial trials and is currently negotiating
rollouts with multiple office parks in the area.
