You can all eat together at our house - inside or out!  Inside (below), 8-10 people at the trestle table and 4-6 at the side table.  Doorway to the right goes to the Kitchen.  Small refrigerator (not shown) next to the side table for easy access.  Great for dining, playing games/cards or recounting your adventures from the day.  

This picture shows the view towards the front yard, overlooking a small patio (pergola overhead).

Overall "family room" is 23'x12', where 1/2 is the eating area shown above, the other 1/2 is a sitting area, which overlooks the backyard through sliding glass doors.  And just outside those doors is a patio with picnic tables with umbrellas, where you can eat your lunch/dinner as you enjoy the beautiful weather.
